Lahore: (June 1, 2020) Coronavirus swallowed 22 lives in one day in Punjab.
According to the health department, the death toll from the deadly virus in Punjab has risen to 497 so far, while the total number of patients has risen to 26,240 after 1,184 new cases came to light.
The death toll from the deadly disease rose to 199 in Lahore and 497 in Punjab. With 1,184 new cases reported in the province, the number rose to 26,240.
Among the common cities, Lahore is the worst affected with 72,781 new cases and 12,881 patients. Eight new cases were reported in Nankana, 11 in Kasur, seven in Sheikhupura, 77 in Rawalpindi, 74 in Gujranwala and 47 in Sialkot.
While one in Narowal, three in Hafizabad, 73 in Multan, nine in Khanewal, three in Vehari, 74 in Faisalabad, two in Chiniot, one in Jhang and 12 in Rahim Yar Khan confirmed the corona.
In addition, three patients in Sargodha, four in Bahawalpur, four in DG Khan, 36 in Muzaffargarh, seven in Sahiwal and one new patient in Pakpattan contracted coronavirus. While 6,124 people managed to defeat the coronavirus.
