In Pakistan, a record 3,938 cases of corona in one day, 1621 deaths

Lahore: A record 3,938 cases of coronavirus were reported in Pakistan in one day, bringing the total number of patients across the country to 76,398.

In the last 24 hours, 78 more people have lost their lives in Corona, bringing the death toll to 361 in the last five days, bringing the total number of deaths nationwide to 1,621.

According to the National Command and Control Center, 27,110 Corona patients have recovered across the country. The highest number of coronavirus patients is in Sindh, where the number has risen to 29,647.

Coronavirus has reported 27,850 cases in Punjab, 10,485 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4,514 in Balochistan, 2,893 in Islamabad, 738 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 271 in Azad Kashmir.

The highest number of deaths were reported from the coronavirus in Punjab, where 540 people lost their lives. 503 people were killed in Sindh, 482 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 30 in Islamabad, 11 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 49 in Balochistan and six in Azad Kashmir.

The first case of corona in Pakistan was registered on February 26 and by May 21, there were 1,000 deaths. The Ministry of Health says that initially, the growth rate was slow, but now it is increasing rapidly. The number of corona cases in Pakistan is expected to reach one lakh and most cases are likely to come to light in June.
